- If you want to conduct meditation classes
- Add to your skills
- Gain a qualification
We receive such positive feedback from this course from professionals such as psychologists, as well as regular people who do the course for their own personal growth. Students often give us a 10 out of 10 rating, and one student answered our question on how we could improve the course with, “you can’t mess with perfection”.
We are humbled and grateful by these responses and we want to reach more people, not just for our benefit, but for what meditation can do the world.
Stress is such a huge problem in our world today and even young children are stressed. By teaching mindfulness and meditation skills, whether that be to your family and friends, work colleagues, clients or the general public we contribute to a more positive peaceful world. And as more of us do this, our actions will have a ripple effect that creates calmness and positivity that extends beyond us and influences people we’ll never even meet.
Anne Hartley, our founder and the creator of this course, is available by phone or email if you need help.
Our online meditation teacher course covers a broad range of subjects.
Our course is a little different to most meditation courses as we include many different styles of meditation, and some life skills.
We start with a unit on mindfulness. This is an introduction to mindfulness which is covered in much more depth in our mindfulness teacher course. The exercises in this unit are quite powerful and most people are surprised at where there mind goes.
You have access to a ton of relaxation exercises, because sometimes we need a tool we can use at school or work when it’s not appropriate to meditate.
We cover a unit on living by values. This is important as it helps people to change their automatic responses which in turn builds self-esteem.
You’ll explore a range of meditation styles. This includes mindfulness, mantra, primordial sound, loving kindness, walking, binaural sounds, Japa and specific meditations for letting go, attracting a soul mate, healing and spiritual decision making.
You’ll also learn about the psychological and physiological benefits of meditation, including how different meditation affect different portions of the brain.
You’ll explore meditations for children and its benefits. Quite a few of our graduates teach meditation in schools.
And the course comes with a lesson plan for conducting a 6 week course and resources to help you start your meditation business and teach your classes.
You can enrol in just this course, combine it with our mindfulness teacher course or, combine it with our coaching skills course to give you broader range of skills.
This is the best college for learning Meditation. The work is actively involving. The techniques are wide and varied. And, the support by Anne and others is unlimited. The flexible style is great for busy people. (Read the full Testimonial below)

You receive a downloadable course manual. Most units also come with a video.
You are required to read through the manual, watch the video and then complete a written assignment. If your assignment needs more work, you’ll be given the opportunity to revise your answers. We provide written feedback on every assignment. It isn’t hard, and we have had people train with us who have never studied before.
Because the course is presented by distance training you need to have personal experience with meditation, and you need to meditate regularly. If you don’t have a lot of experience we urge you to join different meditation groups so you can experience different styles of meditation, and commit to a regular daily practice yourself.

A message from the Course Teacher
Meditation doesn’t just ease stress, it changes lives, and I want to encourage more people to make it part of their daily lives.
When my five-year-old son died, in 1981, I started doing personal development courses, looking for a way to get through the pain, and every class I did included meditation. Meditation took me to a place of peace that enabled me to emerge from that horrific time in my life a better person.
As I began teaching courses myself in 1989, even though my first course was on attitudes to money, I always included a class on meditation.
I distilled years of my working experience in practising and teaching meditation, as well as in running a successful life coaching business into this accredited training for meditation teachers.
Now I’d like to invite you to join me in this course and don’t hesitate to call if you have any questions. Looking forward to meeting you,
ANNE HARTLEY – CEO, Head Trainer and founder of Hart Life Coaching
I have been a very successful Clinical Psychologist, Health and Wellbeing practitioner for 33 years… from working in the Psych Department at Prince of Wales Hospital to Managing Tasmania’s Mental Health. So, I was very fussy when I decided to study Mindfulness and Meditation, for its Mind, Body and Soul benefits (such are CBT practice therapeutic interventions). I researched a great deal before settling on Hart Life Coaching as my College and I was not disappointed. In sum, this course and this College are excellent to study with, and I support their ongoing success. Thank you, Anne, for my wonderful learning journey.

I have recently completed the Meditation teachers Course. I enjoyed learning about the different ways to meditate and the long-term benefits that it has on our health. Since completing the course, I find myself teaching others what I have learnt through conversation. I highly recommend this course for those who want to learn more about understanding your feelings, where stress comes from, how to eliminate conflict within yourself, and ultimately how to be a better, healthier you and to do the same for others. I thoroughly enjoyed studying the Online Meditation Certificate offered by Hart Life Coaching. The content was thought-provoking and covered a broad range of subjects. Additionally, the resources provided were significant and useful, especially when conducting sessions. Thanks, Anne I loved the course & the way in which it is delivered.
After genuinely believing in the benefits of practising meditating & mindfulness daily as my routine & wanting to expand this knowledge to teach, the Hart Life Coaching Meditation Teacher Training offered me everything that I was seeking in a course. The training was clear, precise and easy to follow. A realm of expanded research & knowledge to be learnt, substance & depth to be gained, teamed with the support from Anne, made for a great training combination to easily enable me to complete my Meditation Teacher Training.
Thanks so much for your guidance and advice on the questions I asked. I have loved the course and feel I have learnt so much throught. More importantly, I improved my meditating practice and life balance. Now I am looking forward to helping others in the area of mindfulness and meditation. As I currently teach at a prison, it looks like I might have the opportunity in coming months to teach some Mindfulness and Meditation courses to prisoners.
