Meet our trainers…
Anne Hartley is still actively involved in training but only teaches some sessions. Our other trainers have been hand-picked and trained by Anne.
Dianne grew up in a small fishing village sandwiched between the mountains and the wild Atlantic in rugged and rural Donegal, Ireland. She relocated to Sydney’s Northern Beaches in 1999 where she now lives with my husband Justin & 9-year-old daughter Aisling.
Dianne has had 20 plus years working in international corporate organisations in Healthcare, Pharmaceutical, Technology & Food Manufacturing in roles ranging from Diagnostic Technologist, Director IT Business Systems, Project Management to Organisational Change Manager. She has had a varied and meandering career path having studied Chemistry in college then changing careers from science to IT, then organisational change to business owner.
She started The Happy Path so she could inspire individuals and organisations to find their happy path, by implementing courageous mindful change.
Having lived experience with mental health issues, she is channeling her passion, skills and strengths to positively transform corporate culture in relation to mental health.
When she is working she can be found hanging out with family and friends, walking in nature, cooking, listening to podcasts, audio books and heavy metal and breathing new life into old furniture.
Dianne says, “Mindfulness and meditation are two key ingredients I use to nurture my mental health and fuel my happy path. I firmly believe these practices have the power to transform lives.”
Rita’s love of languages led her to gain a Bachelor of Arts Degree majoring in Italian, Spanish and English. She has taught in a variety of educational settings. However, she was always interested in psychology, so in 2008 she completed her Certificate and Diploma in Life Coaching with Hart Life Coaching. Rita has also undertaken training with the Butterfly Foundation and is a member of three working parties with The National Eating Disorders Collaboration. One of Rita’s specialities as a life coach is working with young people who have body image issues.
Rita had a successful full time practice as a life coach but found she missed the interaction of working with others so she now works part-time as a CGEA tutor for disengaged youth with drug/alcohol/mental health issues and the long term unemployed alongside her own coaching business where she also conducts workshops on a number of coaching areas. She found that working in a variety of roles provided Rita with the stimulation, and interaction she needs.
Rita has also won awards for the ‘Most Outstanding Location Based Project’ for her work with Corrections Victoria in their Community Work Partnership Awards. Rita taught life skills to women on community based orders whilst they knitted squares that were made and donated to the animals at the Coldstream Animal Shelter. She found these women, most of whom had had no exposure to life coaching, were really receptive to a new way of thinking and being.
Rita’s students describe her as engaging, witty, passionate and energetic! She brings her own unique style to all learning environments.
Julie has had a varied career. She has an Advanced Diploma in Accounting and is a registered tax agent. She has a Certificate in Life Coaching and a Diploma in Life Coaching from Hart Life Coaching. She has owned a number of businesses including a weight loss and fitness franchise, accounting practice and has co-managed and owned several boutique motels in which her main role was promotion and marketing as well as being financial controller. Julie now combines life and business coaching with her accountancy business.
Julie has a passion for working with small business owners to help them grow their business to the next level. She is particularly interested in solo business owners who want to create balance in their lives and still have a successful business. Her background in financial matters and marketing can greatly assist life coaches by putting theory into practice and getting results.
Julie lives in Newcastle NSW and enjoys getting to the beach in summer, she is a regular at the movies and would like to improve her golf handicap.
