Before we go any further this course is for people who already meditate and have done so for some time.
The course is done via distance training. You have access to our online area that contains your course workbook, videos and exercises to do. You then complete a question and answer style written assignment and email it to us. We provide you with in depth feedback, and support you on your journey. Anne Hartley, our founder and the creator of this course, is available by phone or email if you need help.
Our Meditation Teacher course covers a broad range of subjects: obviously mindfulness and meditation, but we also include relaxation techniques, living by values, simple ways to change our state. The whole course is focused on teaching people to live a calm life.
We cover different styles of meditation, the benefits of these and how different meditations affect different portions of the brain.
And we also include a unit on meditation for children as several of our graduates are now teaching in schools.
You can join our mindfulness and meditation teacher course or, you can combine our meditation teacher training with our life coach training course to give you a broader range of skills.
We need more meditation teachers
Australian statistics show that at least one in three people are affected by stress. Mindfulness reduces stress, promotes calmness and enhances personal happiness. Being mindful can be life changing. Being Mindful can bring joy back into our lives.
Meditation aids attention, increases feelings of well being, supports calmness, increases intuition, supports goal achievement and feelings of inner peace. It changes the structure of our brains and increases our response to stress.
Mindfulness is becoming increasingly popular in the corporate world and some of our graduates are now teaching it in their workplace.
During the course you will learn:
- The cause and effects of stress
- How to use mindfulness to change the stress response
- How to use values as a way of being mindful
- About the physiological and psychological benefits to be gained from regular meditation
- About the following styles of meditation: mindfulness, transcendental, loving kind kindness, walking, japa, binaural sounds
- Teaching Meditation to children and teens
- How to use meditation to heal and achieve goals
- About a range of relaxation techniques
- How to promote a meditation business
- How to conduct meditation courses
The course is conducted online with a mentor to support you. You can email or call during business hours if you have any questions.
